Spectar SDS HC and MC

The SPECTAR SDS MC Range (800amp to 2000amp) and SDS HC Range (2000amp to 6300amp) of products are both available as Mains Distribution Switchboards or Packaged Substations when combined with High Voltage switchgear and Power Transformers.

The SPECTAR Switchgear are one of the pioneers of the cubicles switchgear and Packaged Substation concept.  The first compact design of the LV Switchboards being introduced in the 1960s followed by Packaged Substations in the early 1970s (pre Cast Resin Transformers).

Ultra 400

Ultra 400 is a Motor Control Centre of the Form 4 multi-cubicle type designed and tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 60439-1 and which is utilized in a wide variety of industries including steel, chemical, petro-chemical, utilities, pharmaceutical etc.  The flexibility of design enables the same basic construction to be used for the incorporation of a wide spectrum of technologies i.e. conventional electro-mechanical starter components.  PLC's variable speed drives, soft start units and intelligent motor managers/starters communicating on diverse but standard communications protocols e.g. Profibus, Devicenet, Modbus etc

Spectar - Powerzone Distribution Switchboards

Form 4, designed to meet allow all low current: Powerzone provides full form 4 segregation with the simplicity of only two switch compartment sizes (200A and 800A) enabling any combination of fuse-switch, MCCB or load break swicthes.

Type tested assembly ASTA certified to 50kA: Powerzone encompasses two fully shrouded 4 pole busbar systems rated at 400A (35kA for 0.2 sec)  and 800A (50kA for 1 second) type tested to BS EN 60439-1 having copper connections throughout.
